The United States pumps millions of gallons of oil. We are, in fact, the worlds third largest oil producer. And we pump millions of gallons from Alaska (the ANWR park lands are only a small fraction of Alaska. The problem is not with what we produce, it is that we consume so much more. And the problem with oil prices at this time, isn't supply, it's speculation in the commodities market.
Don't call Jeb Bush a moron, or a Democrat, and he specifically asked his brother not to allow drilling off the coast in Florida.


And the governor of Alaska is a Republican, its not wanted there either.


Schumer is just one of many Congresspeople, if it were something that was wanted, he would be outnumbered.


Especially since no one would be drilling in his home state, there is no oil under NY.


So he would have no political reason not to support drilling.


So look elsewhere as to why big oil is posting the highest profits ever seen on the planet, ever.


Could it be, declining value of the dollar, speculators, lack of true leadership in the White House, or is it just that the White House is very happy to be giving its Big Oil friends a little extra?
We need the people we voted in to get going and have some refineries built, we have plenty of our own oil.
