Why do we not just drill down to the other side of the earth and get all the oil we want?

Or at least fly to another planet and find it's oil deposits and bring it home? Why do we not just drill down to the other side of the earth and get all the oil we want?
The drill bit and rods would melt at the mantle if not before! Even if the center of the earth were not hot, there is no machine or rod material strong enough to break the surface friction between the rod and the rock for the amount of rod required.

Oil is made up of decomposed plant material which is buried for long periods of time. This is only found in the shallow crust of the earth. We know of no other planet with plant life. Why do we not just drill down to the other side of the earth and get all the oil we want?
if it were feasible, it would have been done already
because
We have trouble doing 10 kilometers, never mind drilling to the other side. Cheaper to ship it by boat anyway. And even if we could get it that way, it wouldn't be any cheaper because you can bet that the people that get it won't sell it any cheaper than the people who now have it. Not too many people invest their time and money for free.
well drilling through the core of earth wont work as temperatures there are too high for the equipment in use.

for the other planet part: to have oil you need a carbon source that was altered under certain circumstances (heat and pressure) - so far no planet having such carbon sources has been discovered
