How long would it take Republicans to read & vote on a 1000 page bill that allows ';Big Oil'; to drill anywhere?

and gave them more subsidies? How long would it take Republicans to read %26amp; vote on a 1000 page bill that allows ';Big Oil'; to drill anywhere?
And I guess your car runs on solar power...?

What does it matter where they drill for oil? I mean for all the whining and complaining the moonbats did over the Alaskan pipeline and it has proved them all wrong. Not only has it been extremely successful and protected the enviroment it has far exceeded any expectation of how much oil was in there. It was only scheduled to run 40 years and now they are saying there is another 50 years plus left. It also has the ability to be dismantled without hurting or leaving a lasting impression on the enviroment. So for all those people balling about the pipeline where are they now. If anything, let the people in Alaska decide how ';their'; land is used, because in the end, they have to live with it not some blow hard living down near the beach in California wondering were their latest latte will come from. How long would it take Republicans to read %26amp; vote on a 1000 page bill that allows ';Big Oil'; to drill anywhere?
What bill is that? Can you give the year and number of that bill so we can look it up?

No bill should be 1000 pages. None.

Don't rant. You want to make a point use facts.

Edit: Ok, it ';would'; take this Republican about 12 hours to read 1000 pages.

I have said this before, any bill that takes 1000 pages probably needs to have the various provisions made into separate bills.
I wouldn't care if they read that one or not. I say DRILL and DRILL NOW!!

Oh, you know those tax cuts for big oil that Obama pounded McCain with during the campaign? McCain voted against them and Obama voted for them, but you weren't listening.
given that GOP tends to vote in unison no matter what, no time at all. But if you expect them all to actually read all 1000 pages, Ralph Nader will be president b4 that (lol). People in Congress just have staff read and summarize bills to them.
I would hope they wouldn't do that any more than the house and senate in control now. I don't care who's to benefit from a bill, I wish they all would read what they are signing. And why are bills thousands of pages long, anyway?
Are you trying to justify all the representatives who passed ';cap and trade'; without reading it with a hypothetical situation? Is that all you have? Pathetic.
At least you admit that the epublicans would read a bill before voting on it. That's way more than the libs are doing. Obama took longer to find a dog.
What makes you think a bill like that would be 1000 pages?

1 page let's go
they'd be wanting to vote before the bill got out of committee.
I can comfortably cover 1000 pages in three days, (I can cover all in one day if I must).

No matter the party, we don't pay them to look pretty.
Not nearly as long as it will take for 0bama and his cronies to read AND understand his health care reform :)
HA! Good one
what does your car run on? air?
what? republicans can read?
