It was Bush. Legislators have been fighting it though because of causing environmental problems for the wildlife.

It's funny, where they want to drill there is no wild life at least 9 months out of the year. It is a remote area that would have no bearing on the existence of any wild life. But heaven forbid we do something in this day and age that is caused by common sense. I don't know who said it but I know who are against drilling. The libs and their money contributing environmentalist wacko buds.
We ought to be drilling in Alaska today. I'd rather upset the frozen tundra ecosystem than put money into the pockets of those who support our enemies.
