Will we end up buying products that China makes from the oil that comes from the wells in Brazil's ocean while we refuse to drill off of America's coasts?China is spending $10 BIL to drill for oil with Brazil off of Brazil's coast. Will Obama bankrupt the US?
BIG YAWN. The US doesn't have the capacity to meet its current oil demands by drilling. We have only a small fraction of the world's oil reserves yet we use over a quarter of the world's production.
BTW, if drilling was the answer why didn't Bush drill all over the place when he and the GOP were in complete control? Its probably because the oil companies have no interest in making the huge investments that would be necessary.
