They've proposed the same investment in renewable energy as McCain.
Add that to their Chamberlain-esque approach to the middle east...are we looking at $10 a gallon pump prices by the second year of an Obama administration?
Or do you believe there is at least some possibility (if not a good possibility) that drilling offshore (and in ANWR if Mrs. Palin can convince Mr. McCain), will have an immediate impact on the commodity trading prices of oil when there is some prospect on an increase in the energy supply?
PLEASE STAR THIS QUESTION IF YOU'D LIKE TO HEAR THIS QUESTION DEBATEDWho is selling the bigger pipe-dream on oil prices under the next President? Renewable? or Renewable%26amp;drilling?
domestic drilling will have little effect on gas prices - a few cents per gallon - the US domestic oil supply is so small that we have no choice but to import oil mostly from canada and saudi arabia - due to location and quality of their oil respectively.
20 billion proven barrels is a drop in the bucket compared to canada's 180 billion tar sand reserve and virtually nothing compared to saudis 280 billion light sweet reserve - the highest quality oil on earth and perfect for gasoline production.
