If we drill for oil in the Alaskan wildlife refuge, how can we protect the polar bears and beluga whales? ?

Should we?If we drill for oil in the Alaskan wildlife refuge, how can we protect the polar bears and beluga whales? ?
Well there is no energy crisis to start with... It was invented to justify price gouging, the Iraq war, and tapping into reserves.

Secondly, I think you are gravely over estimating the impact it would have on their habitat and under estimating their ability to persevere. If we drill for oil in the Alaskan wildlife refuge, how can we protect the polar bears and beluga whales? ?
The area proposed for drilling is very small. It shouldn't affect the wildlife significantly.

The beluga whales are far away in the ocean. The polar bears are already increasing in number.

Modern oil drilling technology is much better and safer than the old.

The oil pipeline seems to have benefited wildlife rather than harming it.

Of course we need to remain vigilant to the affect of our activities on wildlife. But we need to be rational and objective about it.

Considering the trend of world events, I think it is wise at this time for the US to get more domestic oil. An international crisis is looming. And I don't suppose everybody will be as concerned for the wildlife as we are. But we do what we can.
first of all the impact on wildlife is going to be VERY minimal. please research it for proof. Not everythin you hear on tv is correct in fact most of it is not.
by checking theres none under the ice before drilling!
By eating them.
