Now that oil companies can drill anywhere, what will republicans excuse be 4 high gas prices?

Even with expanded drilling, the excuses will be: not enough refineries, mysterious speculators, Democrats generally, increase in worldwide demand due to China and Inida, the value of the dollar, increased extraction costs, OPEC, hurricanes, etc, Now that oil companies can drill anywhere, what will republicans excuse be 4 high gas prices?
They can't drill anywhere. They can only drill with in the US, and off its shores, and only in US areas that are already being drilled.





They will not negotiate with the American Public. It's beneath them.





If they are negotiating ';oil deals'; with the Middle East, they are breaking constitutional law. Only Congress and the Senate are supposed to that. It's in our constitution.Now that oil companies can drill anywhere, what will republicans excuse be 4 high gas prices?
what makes you think they can drill anywhere? The Dem's said they can drill offshore if it's 50 miles out. problem is 80% of oil is within 50/mi. of shore so what would be the point of drilling. why do you think that it's just rep that want an excuse for high gas price's. I'd say it's both parties. this bs they just passed proves it. stop being so partisan, both parties what to stick it to us and that's the only time you'll see them work together.
why are you blaming the republicans for the high cost of gas? everyone in the country knows that the democrats have been in control of congress and the senate for the last 2 years and that gas prices were reasonable before they came into control. i believe you have your info backwords.

The primary cause is the weak dollar. The dollar is weak because of Bush's spendign and the Fed's inflating. Whether the GOP will acknowledge this I do not know.
