As many things, does a bad (conservative) idea suddenly become palatable once a liberal says it?Since Obama says it is OK to drill for oil is it suddenly a good idea?

I think he might be guilty of trying to have it all ways. And I am a supporter of his, but I must say, I was not pleased to hear he is in support of drilling for oil - did he ever speak out against it? Is this a reverse course or what?





Its a Catch 22 all the way - if you expand your vision, or take into account other factors and come out with a newer plan of action, is that always a so called flip-flop? OR. is it smart to evolve ideas and make better plans and adjust your vision to include other options?





George Bush is an example of sticking to the plan, no matter how bad it is, and no matter what evidence contradicts previous assumptions or beliefs. Guns blazing into Iraq and here we are years later, with countless dead on all sides, and yet he presses on with no end in sight. Changing your mind is not always a bad thing, clearly.
